Magaly Suarez, internationally renowned ballet master teacher who has inspired many students worldwide, and her world class faculty will work with serious ballet students over the summer to improve their technique and performing skills.
The Art of Classical Ballet School, “the best kept secret in ballet”, offers a complete program and performance opportunity with the following classes offered: Ballet Technique, Pointe Technique, Pas de Duex, Contemporary/Modern, Character Dance, PBT, Stretch and Floor Barre. |

IN-PERSON AUDITION:

AUDITION LOCATION:
The Art of Classical Ballet (Located at: North Broward Preparatory School)
7600 Lyons Rd, Coconut Creek, FL 33073 (400 Building)
TIME:
Young Dancer Level (8 -11 years old)
Check in/Warm up- 9:30 -10:30 am
Audition class starts at 10:30-12:00 pm
Advanced/Pre-Professional Level's (ages 12+)
Check in/Warm up- 9:30 -10:30 am
Audition class starts at 10:30-12:30 pm
DRESS CODE:
Female students please wear a black leotard with pink tights and flat ballet shoes. Hair must be in a neat bun.
Advanced/Pre-Professional Level's (ages 12+) should have their pointe shoes readily available to wear when instructed.
Male students should wear fitted black bottoms or tights with a fitted T-shirt.
Step 1 - Complete the registration form (if you haven’t registered yet). (Link Above)
Step 2 - Bring $40 cash to audition or pre-pay $40 audition fee via Zelle to: [email protected]. Specify the name of applicant and reason of payment (i.e.: video audition or in person audition) on the note/memo of Zelle payment.

Step 3 - Bring required pictures to audition: a. Headshot b. First arabesque c. Tendu a la seconde
Step 4 - Wait for email including results from the audition review panel (1-2 weeks).
Step 5 - If acceptance into the summer intensive is granted, pay $500 non-refundable deposit to secure spot.
IF ATTENDING IN-PERSON AUDITION DAY IS NOT POSSIBLE. PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] TO SCHEDULE AN ALTERNATE AUDITION DAY/TIME.
VIDEO AUDITION:
Step 1 - Complete the registration form. (if you haven’t registered yet). (Link Above)
Step 2 - Pay $45 application fee via Zelle to: [email protected]. Specify the name of applicant and reason of payment (i.e.: video audition or in person audition) on the note/memo of Zelle payment. In case you don’t have Zelle, we also have the following link for PayPal payments.

1. Attach required pictures: a. Headshot b. First arabesque c. Tendu a la seconde
2. Attach a video including the following A or B:
a. Classwork (Minimum 5 minute video - must include barre and center work)

Step 4 - Wait for email including results from the audition review panel (1-2 weeks).
Step 5 - If acceptance into the summer intensive is granted, pay $500 non-refundable deposit to secure spot.
**Incomplete video auditions will not be considered by the audition panel
